The refrigerator barely worked and the clean linens were a nice touch.

Exploring nearby spots like Boston Market and Mario's Pizza was the highlight! Solid chow for a chill night. That gave some good vibes to an otherwise rough stay. Plus, I spotted a couple of entertaining local eateries just a hop away.
Had a roach fiasco in the first room, and seriously, the channel options were a joke with barely any working TV. Add to that a fridge that just didn’t want to cooperate. We spent the night worried about bugs crawling into our stuff.

Arrived with my family for a weekend at UDel, but it quickly turned into a regrettable stay. The initial room we got had roaches, and we ended up being switched to another room that also had a few bugs. It was uncomfortable knowing we might bring pest eggs home. However, I appreciated the nearby dining options that provided some relief after long days.

Basic accommodations at a budget price
I stayed for 12 nights in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds, Non-Smoking. The room itself was spacious and I appreciated the clean linens. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay. However, the overall appearance of the building felt outdated and neglected. Improvements could definitely be made in maintaining the exterior and general upkeep of the facilities.

I arrived late and just wanted to crash after a long drive. The front desk staff was pleasant, which made the check-in process smooth. The location was handy for my needs. I appreciated having Wi-Fi since the TV was out of service, but I had my laptop. I really felt like I got what I paid for this time.
The carpet was stained and the bathroom was not clean. I felt uncomfortable due to the noise from nearby guests. There were issues that needed addressing for sure.

We spent a fun day exploring the University of Delaware Stadium and loved soaking in the energy of a college atmosphere. The location is pretty convenient for families, with attractions nearby that kept our teenage kids entertained and busy.
My kids wished the rooms were cleaner and the amenities better suited for families. An upgrade to the bathrooms and better cleaning services would go a long way.
